Jenny Cruz

I am currently employed by Bethpage Federal Credit Union since 1/2009. In May 2015 I change position within Bethpage FCU. I am now a Small business Officer where I provide all type of assistance to anyone in need of small business lending whether is buying a commercial building or purchasing a business. I was the Branch Manager for the Central Islip branch located in the Towne Center Shopping Plaza on Carleton Ave. 233 S. Research Pl, Central Islip, NY 11722 for 7 years.

Prior to Bethpage I worked for JPMorgan Chase from 3/1992 to 12/2008 as a Senior Loan Officer…as a loan officer at Chase I was able to travel to several different branches to conduct mortgage interviews to possible bank customers/clients. My territories were Freeport, Hempstead, West Hempstead, Wyandanch, Brentwood, Central Islip, and Bay Shore as well as other numerous branches, throughout Long Island.

I also, worked for the following companies Chemical Bank as a Payroll Supervisor, AIG as a Regional Liaison and United Community Insurance Company with different capacities and last position held, as a department manager.   

I attended CCNY in NYC were I majored in Liberal Arts.

May 2014 Corporate Excellent Award by the Long Island Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.


Current activities: I am the current Treasurer of the Central Islip/Islandia Chamber of Commerce, Treasure of Immigration Legal Service of Long Island, Board Member of Teatro Experimental YerbaBruja, Board Member of Adelante of Suffolk County and Treasurer of Sepa Mujer. February 2012 Mujer Actual. I Volunteered for the free Tax assistance program (VITA) for 7 years.

As a Small Business Officer and as Branch Manager at Bethpage Federal Credit Union I’m involved in various community events throughout Long Island, where I participate and involved my time in several community projects that are beneficial to me, as well as to Bethpage FCU in an effort to give back to the community we served.
